Ash of Gods: Tactics

Ash of Gods: Tactics is a turn-based strategy game set in the same universe as Ash of Gods: Redemption, released just a year before and available for Windows, Linux, and Mac. This game is a prequel where you try to keep total war from reducing the entire world of Termium to dust.

Gameplay in Ash of Gods: Tactics is a bit different from Ash of Gods: Redemption. When it's your turn, you can move a unit and use an artifact. But you also need to keep in mind the fact that your units will move and attack automatically according to their predefined behavior patterns. Archers, for example, move two squares in a straight line and attack the closest unit within two squares.

Story mode in Ash of Gods: Tactics has more than 20 different missions where you fight against tons of enemies. Luckily, as you complete missions, you can also improve your deck, adding new units and artifacts with better attributes. And if that's not enough, there's also an online PVP mode where you can fight against other players.

Ash of Gods: Tactics is a very interesting turn-based strategy game. Beyond being a prequel to Redemption, it also has an excellent single player campaign mode. The graphics are absolutely amazing and practically identical to the computer version.
